ATTN: All new registrations must be manually approved

If you've just registered and find yourself unable to post, this is thanks to spammers. We are now manually approving all new registrations. We will try to get to them every 24-48 hours. Please exercise a bit of patience. Once you have done that, if you still have any issues with the registration process, please use the "contact us" link at the bottom right of any page to email me directly.

Thanks.

Later.

Hello Jason,

Please could you also let me know whether I will be able to PM as well as post if I am approved?

Thank you for your time.

Gavin

Silly question...but what is 'spam'? I don't want to violate the rules but do want to encourage filmmakers (directors, cinemetographers, audio, producers) to see what my competition/festival is about. Any suggestions?

That will specifically violate the rules.

7. No Poaching
If you have something to contribute to the community, please contribute it here, don't just say "hey everyone, look what's going on over on my own site." That's just a lame way of trying to build your own site up by poaching our members, and it's just not cool. Don't be a "taker", be a contributor.

Thanks for approving.. I also signed up for the Blackmagic forum over a week ago and I'm still waiting on approval there. Is there an active moderator on that forum still?

They announced a mod at the NAB'15, so he'll be showing up any day now (too much of an inside ball?)

I'm not sure if 2010 counts as "new registrations" but after logging in after a few years, I can't access any settings / my profile, etc.
Please consider activating my account.

Greetings from Germany,
Edward

I met someone at a camera event and he told me that he's been trying to become a member here for years but cannot get his account activated. How can I help him?

All registration requests should be addressed to Brent Carter at "brent@dvxu". He is the administrator who processes all requests.
