Attach Shoe?

Hey Folks,

I should be picking up my 300 in the morning. What is the story on the light shoe? Is there not a standard slide in shoe in the box? Other that the J-Rod, how do I attach a shoe? Is there a standard shoe that screws onto the ligt shoe on the 300?

Yeah, as you know by now, it's an inverted hot shoe. There is a 1/4-20 threaded hole there, and I use a permanently mounted stud for my Frezzi mini fill. I know that a company like Armatos could get you an adapter to go from the "parallel universe" hot shoe to the standard one.

If there is a 1/4 20 thread you can buy a shoe that will thread right into it for $10-$20 from B&H. OR...as you pointed out there is always The J-Rod!
