SHORT: Atone

I recently completed and screened my latest short film ATONE for the 2012 Digi60 Film Festival in Ottawa, Canada.
I was hoping to get some feedback from the dvxuser community. The film received a fairly positive response from those in attendance.
The film was shot in about 8 hours with 2 crew members using a Canon T3i.

Thank in advance.

Seems like it was framed for 16:9 when shot and then letterboxed without lowering the frame. I really didn't like the cropping right above the eyeballs. Also, I'm sure you're aware the sound clips quite a few times.

Other than those complaints the rest was done pretty well. I thought the walk to the front was too long. Obviously he was recalling something, but we didn't ever see a CU of his face to experience it with him, so it just felt long to me.

Thanks for commenting Chris. I agree that the walk to the front is long, but unfortunately we didn't have time to get everything we needed and we only had the location for the one day. If I had more time I would put in a few shots including one from the back of the church the showcased the pulpit better.
As for the framing, I did crop it and did lower the frame, but it didn't work in every spot.
What I learned the most from this film is that I need to give myself more time, and also have a few crew members to help as there were only 2 of us really doing the bulk of the work.
Again, thanks for comments, I appreciate them.
Cheers!
