Has anyone who pre-ordered the Atomos Shogun recieved any shipping notifications? I thought that they were supposed to ship in September. Have they been delayed? I haven't heard anything from Atomos regarding the recorders in a while.

It was delayed. But for a good cause: the processing power of the unit has been bumped to make it able to handle more stuff like 4K 60p, FS700 raw etc. which also means it will be a bit more future proof. Well worth a little delay, I'd say!

Does anyone have any new news about the Shogun shipping dates?

With all those GH4s out there now they'll undoubtedly be back-ordered for some time.

I'd really like to see some test footage before placing a pre-order. Anyone else feel the same way?
