Atomos Shogun finally delivering?

It is good the the 7Q can do this, but when you look at the cost of media, maybe you can rethink your cancel. But then why isn't Atomos implementing this in their "future proof" premium recorder? I smell a 4K to HD converter add on.

cost of media has nothing to do with it in this case. If it does not have functions I need to do my work - I will not buy it.
Seems it wasnt thinked out enough. who needs already stored 4k media out of recorder? in 3-5 years, when 4k field monitors will be usual practice - maybe. but not now.. imho
