FS5: Atomos mentions FS5 II in their latest Specs.

Here's a quick wishlist:
-Higher bitrate recording
-Single good viewfinder, rather than two crappy ones
-Lower ISO for S-Log
-All outputs work all the time
-Stabilized sensor
-No rolling shutter (I know, I'm dreaming!)
-Faster Media
-Shutter angle that remains sticks when recording high speed.
-ProRes RAW in camera

Hmmmm....I kind of doubt it would have ProRes RAW in camera.
Being that the whole point of the Atomos partnership is that you
can record ProRes Raw to the Shogun Inferno. If you could record
that 'in camera' than there wouldn't be much of a need for the Atomos
Shogun Inferno.

I'm also speculating it's going to be full frame and/or mount improvement.

can't see higher bit-rates/codecs, etc.. when there is bigger brother/sister FS7 etc..

But let's hope the FS7 I & II will have this option (with the ext unit) & perhaps I can finally revisit shooting raw on occasion.

Personally, I think the FS7 replaced the F5/55 so it's not unusual to think the FS5 body/model could one day replace the FS7 body/model as times continue to change.

And Atomos and many other companies who make equipment/accessories for cameras always know all of the new toys coming out...good sources to have.

Could be interesting if they don't "protect" the fs7 but go all out to eat the Eva gh5.

I like the form of the 5

Sony has a history of not "protecting" their upper end camera lines (not like Canon does).

Remember how pissed the FS7 itself made F5/F55 owners? (and heck the F5 itself annoyed F55 owners when the F5 got 4K)

Going further back the dirt "cheap" F3 annoyed a few F35 owners who paid through their nose for the F35. (ditto the FS700/FS100 arriving after the F3 for the F3 owners)

Heck, the F35 itself annoyed some F23 owners because of how quick the upgrade cycle was.

I see no reason at all why the FS5mk2 couldn't have all the key FS7mk2 specs but at a lower cost and in a smaller form factor. (win-win!)

Having something extra over on top of the FS7mk2 as well, perhaps IBIS? The FS5 (like the C100 too) is designed as a small handheld camera so IBIS would be very nice indeed

My big wishes for a FS5mkII:

10bit HD and 4K internal
In body stabilisation
The focus system from A7III

I have an A7III on order to replace my A7Sii, but would hold off if the FS5ii inherited those specs. The FS5 got a lot right but its lowlight performance and relatively light codecs left me very cold. Plus I'm thoroughly spoiled by IBIS, it's amazing how much you get used to it on light bodies.

If Sony could keep it small/single hand gimbal friendly, roll out some decent All-I codecs in 10bit HD/4K, add similar low light and AF performance as the A7III, I'd consider jumping in.

Not in a Fs5 body.

Not gonna happen.

Why not ? - fits in A7

But more importantly culturally (not that sony 'get' culture) Cine cams are S35, A camera like the Fs5 is much more likely to be an A cam on a wedding where B and C are A7 cameras. Wedding photographers now doing film want full frame much more than traditional cinematographers do. Partly due to thier lens investment and also culturally they just want it.

The clamour for GH5 or A7s with ND and XLR is huge.

Can one consider an Fs5 to be an A7 with XLR?
