We just finished editing two :30 promos for Antenna TV in Athens, Greece that were shot with my NTSC DVX100a and a PAL DVX100a we have on loan from the local Panasonic rep. They look absolutely amazing.
The NTSC foootage was shot at 24p and converted to PAL, which actually gave it a more filmic look. The PAL stuff looks very, very good and is so clean that we were actually able to get excellent blue screen results with it. We used After Effects and an Avid for post.
The director I worked with was so impressed with the DVX he is going to buy one for his own use.
I'll post some QT footage as soon as the editor gives me a CD with the promos.
