Have for sale an Asus G74 with i7 Quad core processor (2.0ghz), upgraded to 16gb of RAM, and also harddrive is upgraded to a 100GB SSD and the factory 500GB HDD. The headphone jack is finicky and sometimes only played from one ear. I ended up just using a USB sound device as I wanted surround sound. Battery isn't great because I almost always use it plugged in but still works. They sell used for about $900 without the upgrades but probably also without the headphone jack problem and probably a better battery.
Edits video in Premiere Pro and After Effects great, just want to upgrade for 4k footage soon.
I've sold and bought on here dozens of times so I can give references.
$800
