aspect ratio help!!!! i need an answer fast!!!!

i have to leave in 3 hours to shoot a commercial for ABC, but the guy wants it in 16:9. should i shoot in squeeze, 16:9, letterbox, or just shoot in 4:3 on my dvx100b. also, what is the difference between letterbox and 16:9 mode?
 
letterbox is still 4:3 with the masks on it...squeeze is 16:9 "squeezed" onto the dvx 's 4:3 chip . So squeeze is 16:9
 
in FCP its called anamorphic and pixel fanatics claim it makes you throw away sacred pixels, but squeeze is what you want!
 
ya i noticed that when you go into squeeze mode that it digitally zooms it in slightly... 2nd day of the shoot today, and when i put yesterdays footage in premiere, it turned out great!

Your horizontal field of view stays the same between NORMAL and SQUEEZE. Only the LCD display appears to be zoomed in.
