ASPECT CON: SQUEEZE to NORMAL

:laugh: Hello all DVXusers

I am new in this place, but got all good advises from you since I have my DVX100A.
Now I did one big mistake, last month I did one weeding program. Party requirement was just simple 4x3 aspect, Accidentally I made almost two hour recording on standard file 3 (SCENE SPARK) setting. Only one thing was changed which I did not know ASPECT COV setting was on SQUEEZE instead of normal.

I know some one can help me about this how can I reverse this Aspect SQUEEZE to NORMAL or some alternate way.
If some know how can I put some graphics bottom and top and leave footage AS IS.
 
No reversal. :(

But you can crop the wide footage to fit...assuming you have enough room on the sides to cut some image without losing something important like the Mother-in-law, or little Cousin Jimmu picking his nose.

Other than that...letterbox is about the only other thing you can do.

Now I am looking if I can run some graphics in upper and lower part of letterbox...... if any clue help please letme. Thanks
 
Well, I suppose you could put an overlayed mask on it, rather than an actual crop in the editor. No reason the mask can't contain nice graphics instead of just plain black.

But I've never done this sort of thing, and I imagine different NLEs do things in different ways. (In Vegas, I'd probably just put the mask in a higher track so it comes out on top of the footage.)
