I set my light meter to 1/60th shutter (instead of a framerate), lit a grey card and hit auto exposure on the camera. Then I adjusted the ISO on the light meter until it matched the exposure the camera gave me, 320. It feels fairly accurate with my eye and my gut.
Lots of people swear by waveforms and things and claim that metering is irrelevant with HD, but I still like it for piece of mind... and because all I have are zebras and the meter since I can't find a really workable, affordable waveform solution.
