Hey guys, I've looked all over but can't seem to find a definite answer. Does anyone know the ASA of the HMC150? I've heard 500, but someone on this forum said they tested at 200. I'm going to test this week but I wanted to see if anyone else had an opinion.
 
In HD NORM gamma, at 0dB of gain, in 24p mode, it's 500 ISO. Other gammas can affect the perceived ISO (especially cine-like D, which is about a half-stop darker) and it gets a tad slower in 60i/60p, about 1/3 of a stop slower vs. 24p or 30p.

So -- in summary, there's not really any such thing as a fixed/set ISO. It changes based on all sorts of factors, so use the idea of 500 as a ballpark, and do your actual exposure based on the waveform monitor, not a light meter.
