SHORT: "As We Were" my short film distributed by Ouat! Media

A few years back I shot this film on super16mm with friends and family doing me favors, working for cheap or free. We had two days and it was the first thing I ever had a chance to write/direct. I was thrilled when Ouat! Media contacted me to distribute the film and now I finally have it on youtube for everyone else to see.

The look and audio were very good.

I was having a bit of a hard time believing some of the acting.
I think it was timing between lines where it was loosing it for me as the spaces all seemed the same.
The interaction was not as natural as it could have been is maybe a better way to say it.
Even so, I think that's minor and this is really good.

Thanks, Steve! Yeah I've heard that feedback on certain aspects of the performances. It's hit or miss based on the viewer. I also didn't have the time and film to do as many takes as I'd liked, but for what I had to work with I'm pleased with how it came out. thanks for watching and taking the time to post feedback.
 
A few things make me happy:

the sound is good
you did not make a videoclip, you did not use music (or not a lot) and that's good. Sound is more then just dialogue and music

Suggestion: it's better to do 8779474747874849749730984940 rehearsels and have 1 or 2 good takes, then wanting to rush rush rush
Also in this case because of the expensive film...
