Artifacts while capturing

I've captured some footage this morning and noticed some scattered problems. The footage looks find via Mojo's monitor output but not in the composer window. The composer window is capturing some periodic artifacts. They appear as color scrambled blotches in 3 or 4 areas of the screen.

Anybody know what causes this sort of thing and how to avoid it?

Can you export a still from a problem frame as well as a screen capture of what you are seeing?

Haven't tried either of those things.

But actually, I take back some of what I said in my last post.  The artifacting IS showing on the Mojo playback monitor.

I'm going to revisit the footage and see if it is a bad recording, which is entirely possible because I used an old tape.
