artifacts on 24PA footage

I shot a project on HVX200 on minidv 24PA cinelikeV and I'm getting jaggies.

I captured in final cut using the 24PA pulldown removal setting for 24PA and edited in a 23.97 timeline.

when I exported an uncompressed QT I noticed bad stepping artifacts on the edge of a stained glass window.

Can I minimise this for delivery?

I thought those artifacts were a function of interlaced fields and thought 24PA minimised such artifacts...???

any help is much appreciated...

Hey Matt, make sure that the footage is capturing at 29.97. Sounds wrong but that way the editing system knows which frames to remove.

Can you post a screenshot?

Is the window on a diagonal? Is the V. Detail Freq set to "Thin"?
