Art of rigging... Rigging a Shogun external recorder in a gh4 or sonyA7s

Wanted to go for this combo myself but with the most discrete run&gun rig as possible.
So even if for some case i would use a proper shoulder rig, im wondering what is the best rigging to hook the shogun to a small body camera like gh4 or a7s without having to use rod?

Wooden camera medium size cage , nato leather handle or wood grip could be a good start?
Tell me about your rig or futur one please,
