Re: Art History Premier

I caught the remaining minutes of the webcast last night. The off-angle webcam gave an interesting look to the film (trapezoidal? :-/), and unfortunately the sound was a bit difficult to hear (the crowd was definitely loud).

Any details you can share re: cam used for webcast and sound pickup?

Thanks,

Monk

Re: Art History Premier

It was actually one of the sponsors who did the webcam etc.. all I could see was a Canon Gl2 hooked upto a monitor and a Laptop... pretty cool little setup. I imagine they will have an edited feed on that website.

Re: Art History Premier

Great showing Zoom - cool movie, cool venue and fashion models - hard to beat that. I would love to see the movie on the wide screen, especially to see how the shots that were stitched togther really look. Thanks for the invite. I am really looking forward to seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff.

Re: Art History Premier

Hi Jared -
Would've loved to have attended the premier.

Question - what size screens were you using for
the viewing? Big screen TV from DVD? Front/rear
projection from tape?

Re: Art History Premier

Hey, we projected from DVD to a Panasonic projector on a 12' screen.. it looked great but we didnt have the right cable to do a progressive out to the projector.. so it was s video and it kinda sucked. The projector we used didnt have component in's... which was wierd as it was a $12,000 projector) and had a hardcore D-sub connector that we had no idea how to hook up but it still worked well... wish I had one in my living room :)
