Hey just letting any Vancouverites out there that the premier for Art History is next Tuesday (Nov. 25th) 7:00pm. At Sugar and Sugar in gastown. Screening/Fashion show all in one :p

Should be cool.. and Norm, Dominika will be there :)

well, I love the cinematography in the movie anyway. how can I see it?
other than going there.
good work to whoever worked on it. especially the photography. something about it inspired me. and it feels very industrial like.

many dvx movies really really suck in the look of it.

Good stuff Zoom! But when is the Aussie premiere? :( You guys up there in the northern hemisphere always forget about us poor bastards stuck down here! :mad: Even though we are Americas best friend or is it England today? ;)

Well that depends. When you need military, there are three options:

You have the "Shoot first, ask questions later" philosophy, which pretty much describes all the military forces of the world, except for north-america. :)

Then you have the U.S. military with it's "Shoot first, shoot again, shoot some more, and throw in a bullet or two for luck, then ask questions, but only if your clip is empty". :D

And finally the Canadian military, who's forces are smaller then the entire NYPD, who goes to war with "Would you mind if we invaded your country, pretty please? Thanks!". ;D

Hmm! That seemed pretty pointless! I forgot what my point was... If I had any! Must be the fatigue, it is afterall 2h30am. I should really go to bed! 8)

I re-read what I wrote and surely didn't mean to sound so political!

I spent 2 years in the USCG and hung out with some Canadian Coastguard dudes once up in Alaska and they mocked the Canadian military too!

Why can't we all just get along!!?!?!! :'(

Yes the DVD will be complete I imagine by the middle of next month.. I still need to do some interviews etc. for the DVD but I imagine that may take place in the next week.

I will def hook up for the dvd. The fact that it was shot using the DVX is very inspiring.

I really wish I had some behind the scenes stuff of the dual camera rig.. but all cameras where in use. You can take a peak of them in the new Videomaker ( ??? ) magazine though, they did a little article on Art History.

Yes, this time next month DVD should be ready. As for the web, the event is being broadcast live on http://www.arc2.tv/ . Should check it out if you cant make it.

Well, everything went well last night.. had a really cool fashion show between screenings, and thanks to DVstory and all you others that showed up. Hope you liked the event :)
