Its easy to do a node in resolve to desaturate high saturation magenta, obviously this could become problematic if you have magenta subject matter.

Im suprised people are not across these tricks, coming from stills Ive been hiding shadow noise CA and PF for years.. Resolve brings that simply to motion which is why Im a fan of Resolve.

I dont know Resolve and was hoping there was a trick in Premiere Pro. The fewer programs to learn, the more time one has to family.

CA in Lightroom is just a button. Not really something i adjust alot often. Is there a similar feature in Resolve you say? But then i have to transcode and stuff? Or can i export the project to resolve, and then import the project back into premiere?

A lot of my jobs are ever evolving stuff that cant be divided into offline and online editing. They flow around each other, as more shots are added and projects evolve over the years.

Hmmmm - Lattice looks like it will help people who are familiar with LR controls, and want to grade video with those controls.

However, I don't see how exporting a LUT from LR could include the "one press" CA reduction feature, because AFAIK that's not just a simple pixel-to-pixel transformation as could be communicated via a LUT. Isn't it more of a filter-type tool, which 'looks' for fringing of a certain colour/width and reduces it specifically?

It certainly would be a popular OpenFX plugin if someone put in the time to code it though... hmmmmmm.

I will pay for that plugin.

Folks should be aware that there's an error in the LUTs Art posted. In the collection of mLUTS, he mistakenly duplicated the Push1 LUT for both Push1 and Pull1. The post LUTS are OK. Easy enough to double check by opening each in LUTCalc. Also easy enough to generate the right Pull1 by using the native LUT he provided and shifting the gamma curve by -1 stop.

Does anyone know where the documentation is for LUTCalc? I checked the site and did a search but came up empty.

thx
