The Arriflex 16S are very reliable 16mm cameras. These come with full packed features including a 180 degree mirror reflex shutter, three-lens divergent turret, special hard chrome plated film gate, and adjustable 10x magnifying eyepiece among others. It has an internal 100 ft. load and can 400 ft. magazines can be externally attached.

This specific Arriflex 16S is in considerably good condition. It functions as normal and only has some minor cosmetic damage. These are very rugged cameras. It's equipped with the standard 8 volt variable speed motor. Motors are interchangeable. This 16S has the power cord to 2 pin banana connector, but no battery with the female connection. Instead what works is simply getting a connection with alligator clips and securing that. But finding a battery online or making a connection that works for you wouldn't be difficult or expensive. You could plug in play as is, all standard and required parts are included.

Arriflex-made batteries are available in a wide variety of sizes, power output and connections. You may use any suitable power supply which is capable of delivering the required voltage and amperes. Generally, batteries with less than 1.8 Ampere/hours at rated voltage are not practical.
In an emergency, the Arriflex 16S may be operated from a 6 Volt auto battery. Maximum camera speed will be approximately 24 FPS with the variable speed motor. A 12 Volt auto battery may generate excessive torque unless the battery is tapped for 8 Volts. MAKE CERTAIN PROPER POLARITY IS MAINTAINED.
