[FS: General] ARRI Daylight 1.2K Frensel HMI w/ Ballast, Extension, Scrim Kit & Rolling Stand

I'm selling my 1.2K ARRI Fresnel HMI. Have owned it for about 4 years and it just doesn't get used very much these days. The previous owner said he had never reset the hour meter on it, and the reading shows 626h.

This light is in good working order and has never given me any issues. The ballast is the old magnetic type, which is heavy but still works great. Yes, you can power this light from a standard household outlet.


Included: A ~50ft ballast to head cable, barn doors, bulb (has about 20-25 hours on it) a full kit of scrims from filmtools (like new) and a rolling crank stand.
Not pictured, but included: I also have an extra housing, complete with lens. The housing and lens are in great shape. Nice to have extra parts.

Asking price is $3500 OBO. I'm located in Sonoma, CA about an hour North of San Francisco, but I'm willing to deliver this as far South as San Jose and as far East as Sacramento.

I've been toying with the idea of picking one of these up. Just juggling the purchase and maintenance cost vs what I spend in renting them each year. Would you be willing to ship everything? And could you estimate the cost to 77494 in Texas?

Hi Rob,
I will definitely look into this for you. It'll have to be sometime next week, if you don't mind. I do know that the shipping cost may be prohibitive due to the weight of the magnetic ballast... I'm not even sure how I'd even package it! The stand is also quite large and also pretty heavy.
