Here's a link to the Mercedes-Benz film made on the ARRI Alexa. This is the trailer for the official movie as well as the doco. The behind-the-scenes provides a look at the ARRI Alexa in action filming car chases and shoot outs. The DP does a demonstration with the camera showing off its simple Apple ProRes HD workflow. You can see both videos in 1080p HD on YouTube.

Backgroundsounds --> very disturbing, specialy as it is as a "VO" funcion.

Car passing = again

Dog barking = again

Crows passing = again

It was also better to turn everything 180 horizontaly... so everything is pointed away from the road

It looked great so far.

No transcoding. Straight to computer. Nice.

When shooting on location like this how many cards do you use? I assume more than one for continuous shooting.

The official film is released on February 17th. 2 more sequels will be shot later this year in Germany, Malaysia and Australia.
