So I've pretty much spent the whole day today trying to sync audio from the H4N to the GH1 video using the merge media feature on Final Cut Pro 7.0. I've used this feature many times before to sync sound with video but it seems to not work with the footage from the GH1. I try to sync it with the in points and I'm sure I'm doing everything exactly how I did it with all my other projects but what happens is that after I get the merged clip, I drag it onto the timeline and it has just the sound from the H4n at first and then after a while, the sound from the H4n cuts off and the video starts playing. They aren't synced at all! Why is it doing this? And like I said, it's only doing this with the footage from the GH1. Is anybody else having this problem?

I've only done a small amount of testing with H2 but haven't run into this problem.
