Arkansas Beauty Video

Went on vacation to Arkansas this Memorial weekend. Beautiful state - specifically the Ouachita National Forest & Cossatot River State Park area. Dragged along my tripod and camera and took in a little video along the day. Thought you guys might enjoy it.

Tech notes...shot it on a HVX200 with a single 4 GB P2 card. Shot in 720 24p and with 720 60p for the water scenes. Shoot to edit, dumped the card to the laptop at the end of the day back in the hotel room. Worked great!

Very nice short and especially nice editing.

Did you use an adapter? The DOF appears to indicate so.

Very nice.

The adapters put a slight vignette on the images, too. Seemed fine for what you were doing.
 
No adapter was used. I shot with the iris as open as possible most of the time.

The "vignetteing" you see is actually a post-production result to give it a little texture. Its something I've been doing to recent videos. It usually looks good, but I regret adding it to this one, it detracts from several of the scenes.

Oh. OK. I'm from the Northern part of the state originally and went to school in the Ozarks at what is now Lyon College.
