Selling an Areca ARC-8050 8-bay RAID box with Thunderbolt 1 interface. $300 CONUS (price drop 6/18/19)
Currently has 32TB via 8x 4TB drives and is set to RAID 5 [28TB storage]. Read/Write is 826 MB/s & 720 MB/s respectively as tested in the BlackMagic app (5GB block.)
The box has seven Western Digital HDDs and one HGST drive.
See the 8050 here along with a screen grab of the speed test.
Additional specs: 1GB of on-board DDR3-1333 SDRAM with ECC protection. Hardware RAID.
Areca 8050 with same specs just sold on Ebay for $460 plus shipping.
Has been a great RAID box for my working drive & my archive of projects from the past few years. Extremely reliable. Selling because I upgraded to T3 setup.
