Well "Grannyfest" wouldn't have to mean produced by... it could be the theme... Like Betrayalfest, so on... something that features grannies, and ideally comedies about them making movies.

I can imagine a lot of great content coming out of this.
 
While I'd love to see films made by those with decades and decades of life experience, I think we could get into seeing films starring the octogenarians as well. :)
 
Good comments by all! I didn't expect such a large response but I enjoyed all post and thoughts. I enjoyed Mr. Jimerson's comment and agree with him. Thank God technology
is cheaper. Some us will go on to become the next J.J. Abrams and some of us will tinker
but we all have a story to tell and an audience who will be willing to watch our content
even if it's just the family.
