In the past few months I've purchased the whole Glidecam 4000 package, and was hoping to integrate it with my Sacthler DV2-II tripod setup. I read here from others that the Sachtler Quick Release Sandwich Touch and Go Adjective Adjective plate mount would be perfect to mount to the Glidecam, allowing quick release exchange between the tripod and Glidecam. So $150 and much time spent on eBay later, I find out that the mount on that Sachtler Touch and Go is much smaller than the plate included with my tripod. Bummer.
Is there a workable system with Sachtler where the same quick release plate can be used with both the Touch & Go mount and their tripods?
Can two truly become one?
