Are there audio problems after removing pulldown?

With the dvx shooting in 24p advanced I plan to capture using Capture Magic SD (which captures the exact same thing as the tape but directly to the hard disk) then remove the advanced pulldown (reverse telecine) using Cinema Tools. When the pulldown is removed, one interlaced frame is removed but what about sound? Does the sound stay the same? Are there problems with syncing? I have heard that the camera captures the audio in a way that it is already 23.987 fps but I am not sure. Is this true?
The other thing is what about when not recording sound to the camera and using a double sync sound system? Should I record in a 23.976 fps audio capture?

Sound is not recorded as a frame rate. :) It's recorded in "real time," and regardless of whether you're shooting 24 frames, 30 frames, or even 60 interlaced fields per second, a second is still a second.

Oh, well that explains a lot. Thanks for the help. So, is this to say that I can record with a double sync sound system of a mic and preamp into the computer and a dvx100b and not have to worry about timing problems even after removing advanced pulldown?
