theres no diference between both screen just the wholes ...
Why do you keep thinking that the screens are identical? They’re not. I own the m2 (second hand purchase from a DVXuser) and the differences have already been pointed out here.
and why should the be used diferent ,same concept nothing changed in the m2e just the spining motor instead 9v now it uses 3v recheargeable battery ... and allways same glass same concept , the lens project on the spining glass the camera recorf of the glass ...duh its not science fiction we talking about
The m2e is an entire redesign. Same concept, yes, but an entirely different and much improved process internally. Redrock made it convenient for owner of the original m2 to upgrade. I did... and the difference is night and day. By your own admission, the cinescreen II was out for 9 months or more before you noticed it.
It is our responsibility as film makers, producers, artists, and DP's to be aware of the tools of our craft. Check the forums, websites, magazines, and ads and nothing will take you by surprise.
I recommend that you consider the upgrade to the m2e (or perhaps buying another product more to your liking and budget). It's definitely worth the upgrade to me.
Best Wishes and I hope you get the answer you're looking for.
