Are REBATES being mailed soon?

Hello there!

Now that Halloween is just around the corner (only 364 days away), I can get back to my *semi-important* postings...

First one is: REBATE!
With a COLD WINTER approaching here in NEW YORK, I want to be able to pay part of my heating oil bill with the rebate check from the FINE FOLKS at Panasonic (is my nose brown enough?).

Any clue when the September purchases are being mailed?

I got Barry's book and DVD (wonderful) and the software. No comment on the software 'cuz I don't use final cut... I'm a Ulead kinda guy (since '95 or '96).
I'm in no rush for HD yet and I'm accustom to, and in love with, Ulead's 99 tracks setup so might as well stick with what I know.

Patiently waiting with a hot-toddie here...

Did mine online on 08.04.2006 got the book and software 6 days later and got the check after 6 weeks and 2 days.
This was my results.

I submitted mine online at the end of September. Just got it a few days ago.

It comes from the "Advertising Checking Bureau" - not Panasonic - and you can see the check without opening the letter. Because of the return address, I initially assumed it was one of those "Cash this check!" junk mails. Came close to just ripping it up without opening it. Once I opened it and saw the $350 amount, then things clicked.
 
Hey! I just got it! And yes, I almost ripped it up thinking the same thing. That is too funny! Perfect timing! A torn check (taped back together) might have presented a problem at the bank! hahaha

"Hey Bartender... 1200 drinks for my friend 12001200... Just add it to my tab!"
(I hope this place has a backdoor!)

But if you got your software and book 6 days after, does that mean i'm screwed? Cause i'm looking at the status right now and there are two objects.

One says "We have received the request but not yet printed the check" (which i think is supposed to be the book/software cause the value on it is $0.00. the date requested 10/21 date processed 10/23 but i still havent gotten it and its 11/13.


And then there is the check which is 350.00 and it says it was processed 11/02 so that should come in in a week or two.
 
i submitted mine online on 10/12...

i talked with Jan and made sure it was all good. (rebate & book)

the book and software arrived yesterday, and the check will be sent in about 4 weeks.

so it may take a little while. (i was scared cause i didnt get the book/software after a month)

and for the record, i bought my camera at newegg.com and it was legit and was able to get the rebate.
 
i talked to someone today and my forms were processed on 11/9, but nothing has shipped since they are out of the book and MB...she said it will probably ship next week.

so sad...i really wanted to use MB and instantHD on my current project (it's due next week).
