I have been looking for a used DVX100B. I have been seeing a lot cameras with exactly 8 hours on the timer. This makes me suspect that there is a way to roll back the timer in these cameras. PLEASE don't post how this is done!! I just want to know if this is just coincidence or if there is something fishy going on. Should I be suspicious?
Are people turning back the timer on their DVX100B?

Dont know if you can do that with the meters. I'd say most low hour cams are either used for one project / someones backup cam / curves life can throw at you at any moment or just someone who bought a camera thinking since they own a DVX now making a movie will be easy and they come to a realization that there is so much more involved they decide to sell.
