Hi folks,
Does anyone know if JVC DVM60 tapes are dry- or wet-lube? I usually use Panasonic DVM63PQ tapes in my camera but a client has shot some footage on his own using JVC DMN60 tapes and he wants me to use my DVX100a to transfer the footage from tape to computer. I've read some horror stories about changing tape brands so I want to be as sure as possible that I'm not gonna screw my DVX's tape heads by playing back my client's tapes.
(I know I should be using a separate DV deck for playback... that's next on the shopping list, I promise!)
Many thanks,
Jack
