are de-clicked Zeiss Prime lenses more or less valuable than originals???

I'm planning to sell on ebay three Zeiss Prime lenses (Nikon ZF mount) I purchased from B&H a few years ago:

• Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/2
• 50mm Planar f/1.4
• 85mm Planar f/1.4

I had the lenses de-clicked by Duclos Lenses, but I now wish to sell them. Are these lenses more or less valuable because I had them de-clicked? And what should the going rate be?

The reason I'm asking here is because I did a search on ebay and didn't find any de-clicked Zeiss lenses for sale. So lacking a reference, I wouldn't know how to price them.

I say used, because they're not new, but they're in mint perfect condition.

Well that just depends on whom you're asking right? Photographers might need to spend $ to have them re-clicked, but videographers might buy yours to save money on declicking. But since declicked are rarer and professional declicking actually costs money I think you can list them for a bit above the going rate. Definitely not less.

Anyway you should try to sell them on this forum first, for the above reason, and also so that you can avoid the fees.

By the way, I believe Duclos promises to restore converted photo lenses back to their factory condition for free.

On the general market they are going to be less valuable, to the video market they will have a little more value.

For some buyers they'd be worth more, for others they're worth less, so I'd try to sell them for more, then lower the price if you can't find a buyer that will value this feature.
