Archival footage to film look

OK so this is a tricky conversion question. I have some archival footage downloaded from the internet. It originated on film, converted to MPEG2 and then upconverted to DV, would there be any sense in doing another conversion to 24p, let's say with Natress conversions for instance. Or is it a case that by virtue of the original source being film to begin with that you can't really improve on the film look? Does the Natress 60i to 24p conversion tax the resolution at all, as it's already taking a hit from the 2 conversions that it's already been through. Thanks in advance.

if it was originally on film, it should look more 'filmy' than anything else.
Leave it like that.
it was already filmed at 24p and telecined with pulldown. so what the dvx100 emulates in cine24p already happened on that footage in the 'proper' way.
