The Aputure Amaran 528S light is an extremely bright panel for its size and cost. This light is rated at 12,700 lux or 1,176 fc at 1.6'. This is a better choice since you can diffuse a spot with a softbox or silk but you can't tighten and increase brightness on a flood. It's also cheap to use and runs on a couple of Sony NP style batteries, though you have to run two at the same time because of it's higher voltage rating. Adjustable dimming. Very light, bright and in excellent condition $110 shipped.
