Hey guys,
I just thought I'd propose a little suggestion for this forum and that is perhaps an appraisal thread for equipment that someone wishes to sell. I think this would benefit twofold:
1. Give the seller an idea of what he/she can reasonably expect
2. For threads that don't include a price from sellers, give a potential an idea of what is FAIR when it comes to purchasing said item.
I think this would benefit people, surely it would benefit myself as I've found that there are several instances where I question what opening price I should start something at or what I should 'offer' someone who is selling.
The aforementioned appraisals thread would give people the ability of posting their equipment, having several informed users suggest a price they should expect to get, and then allow that person and other users to figure out what may be an appropriate asking/selling price.
If not, that is absolutely fine. Just thought I'd suggest something and see what others thought.
