Apple MBP from edu store?

I am looking to buy a new 17" MBP from Apple Educational Discount store. I know that for software titles the education version is limited. Is it same with the hardware?

for example if i want to upgrade my machine to a future OS (i.e Snow lepord?) will i have any issues?

No limits on the hardware. The computer you get is a full-fledged Apple machine. The educational discounts on the hardware aren't nearly as impressive as the discounts on the software.

ya the discounts are not that impressive but i am going to buy it in a taxless state (delaware) so hopefully that combined with edu discount should knock off about 500 bucks which is not bad in the current times.
