I'm looking to purchase 2 17inch flat apple displays.
I could buy them here in London, but apple gear is way cheaper in the States. Only thing is I'm not too sure about getting them over here (london) - import and all...does anyone know of any stores in their area that export gear?

thanks

Re: :apple displays:

There's an apple shop in a mall by my house. If I'm in the mall anytime soon I can ask.

But, for that money ... you could get one of those beautiful 20" displays! ;D (Unfortunately, you'd lose 1/3rd of the real estate of the 17"s.)

Have you tried contacting the big resellers here like ClubMac, MacMall, CDW, etc.? I've never ordered from them, but I imagine at least one of them has to ship overseas.

Thanks...trying to find out whether it will be worth it including import duty and shipping. Maybe i should take a trip to NY and pick up a couple...probably work out cheaper!

here a 17inch display is about $810 as opposed to there £694...crazy.

maybe i should check out the east...

are there any non mac flat displays that have had good ratings?
