Hello Revsta, RAW files represent the raw sensor data for stills, rather than compressed jpegs.
This is good news for those of us that use the GH-1 for still photography as much as for video, but it has nothing to do with video or eliminating pulldown.
We can only hope that the tedious and pesky pulldown step in the workflow is eliminated with the GH-2. I'm hopeful- the newest consumer camcorders just announced by Panasonic, the HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700, appear to provide selectable 1080 60p, 24p or 60i
I hope Panasonic does not make the mistake of keeping these options only available in their camcorder offerings.
