FS7: Anyway to have selection of Picture Profile (like F3) on FS7?

Hi,

My previous camera was the F3, which is a lovely camera (also up for sale if interested) and when migrating to the FS7, one of the things I really missed is the "Picture Profile" button at the back of F3 (along with the centre spot metre), which stores 10 different picuture profiles that user can easily customised and quicky switched. I used to stored a few different profiles by Doug Jensen and Alister Chapman, also Abelcine, to adapt to different situation or matching different cameras.

Is there a similar function on the FS7? I spent a few hours working on FS7 yesterday, flicking through the menu and the paint settings but can't find it or a replacement. I can see there is USER GAMMA and MATRIX in the PAINT menu, but its not like Picture Profile that is all encompassing. I can easily change to different HyperGamma for different lighting situation but its just not that convient.

Is there any work around for that?

Thanks!

(I had also posted it on the Sony Community forum as it seems to have a different crowd there.)

You can save and load Picture profiles off of an SD card. Is that what you are talking about? I'm not familiar with the F3.

Hi, I think you are right, its called Scene file now, guess I was confused. When I searched for Scene File in the manual, there is no any explanation of what it did.

Thanks!

Now it would be great if we had Andy, Doug, Alister or someone as a source of profiles as a starting point.
