Anyway to get HDMI output to an iPad? Wireless streaming?

I've got a few ideas that the iPad would be perfect for (I've already got one).

For example: Using the iPad to do some simple monitoring when using a DIY crane/jib. I know I can get some inexpensive LCD's, which might be better in the long haul, but I thought I'd ask just to see.

Teradek Cube encodes and streams H.264 over Wi-Fi real time from HDMI. Becoming a very popular option for a wireless monitoring network on productions. Not cheap though.

Indeed, I saw that Light Iron Digital even had an app for DITs/producers to screen dailies for the RED using that.
