Anyway to downgrade Canon 5D Mk2 firmware?

Meet a girl who gets you
I want to install Magic Lantern on a 5D mk2 but it currently runs firmware 2.1.2, is there anyway to downgrade it to 2.1.1 to make it compatible with Unified Magic Lantern. Trying to record dialogue with AGC sounds atrocious and that's why I want to install it.

If it's only the AGC that's bothering you, Canon firmware as of 2.0.3 added a function for manually adjusting the sound recording level. I don't have my camera with me right now but it's somewhere in the video settings.

Well I did some recording using it's mic input today with the Rode Video Mic and bumped up the levels in camera. I played it back and had hissing throughout, i'm not convinced it turns off AGC but sets a overall boost to the signal. I remember using the same mic on an old Panasonic GS-500 and getting very good quality audio from the mic, AGC was off. Looks like I might have to record using a zoom.

What is the Rode Video Mic coming out line level or mic level? I had a similar problem with a Sennheiser where it was way too quiet and noisy when I increased it in post. I adjusted it on the receiver and it's much better now. However, I've heard people complaining about the sound quality of the 5D no matter how good the source is.

You're going to have a fair bit of hiss no matter what you do if you run it into the camera. The audio implementation on DSLRs is crap. Running sound to the camera is pretty much to be avoided at all costs.
