Has anyone seen this part in the wild or on ebay? it seams like a dream accessory if this would turn up one day, i guess it does about the same thing as the other eyepiece but it look really nice

Honestly, just move to a Gratical Eye if you can. Vastly superior for monitoring and operating than the old Sony pieces IMO. With far greater adjustability in how you mount it (which makes a huge difference for day-to-day operating). And it's basically the same sort of price as the C30W used anyway.

LUTs(!); a permanent, easy to read waveform; false colour, effective peaking, 1:1 pixel zoom - it really helps bring the camera into the present day.
