Anyone watching Better Call Saul?

Come on. E3? Huh? Is that not great writing? Are you not entertained? Fantastic. HELLO HELLo HELlo HEllo Hello hello?

The show is great, and I am excited to see how Jimmy and Mike's characters develop. You can see Jimmy's battle with good and bad, especially after this last episode. He's smart and I think he means well, but he's just so good at being crooked and sly.

Oh, BTW...I only watched the episode once, but did one of the production guys (in the commercial scene) say he was saving up for a VX2100? lol

This season is really delivering great stuff but I'm beginning to think they need to start expanding the world some more. The conflicts are starting to repeat themselves because they're focused on the same handful of characters. Breaking Bad always knew when to bring in a new element to keep things interesting. I'm getting kind of tired of Saul's girlfriend lawyer, and even the brother.

I was getting a little bored, but it's picking up again. Don't want to spoil anything, but I like how more characters are appearing.

Just watched the last two episodes. I found myself amazed at how they took what was essentially a one dimensional character and made him three dimensional in a very impressive manner. On top of that you have Mike's character which is very strong as well. I've never seen a more solid spin off in my life. These are the masters of the craft creating this show as far as I'm concerned. Not to detract from other shows out there, honestly there are so many good ones that I can't keep up. Glad I have the time for this one.

I'm still on board, but at this point, I am far more interested in the Mike storylines than anything with Jimmy / Saul.

It is slow, but I do understand how they have decided to take their time with Jimmy's transition. You see how much of a decent person he tried to be, but eventually mentally snapped.

It's only a matter of time (more time, ha) until we see Saul fully involved with Mike and everything else. (Of course we do because of BB.)

I absolutely adore it. Just spent this weekend binge-watching my way up to date on Season 3.

My only gripe (and it's a small one) is that with Arthur Albert having moved on from being the show's cinematographer, the really unique visual style they had, has been lost. The hard lighting that made it really stand out has been replaced with some much more conventional modern soft lighting, which all looks fine, but it's not quite as exciting to see.

But with writing and actors that good, I don't see it as much of an issue.

With this current season in particular, I think they've struck a fantastic balance between Jimmy's story and Mike's. I think there's just the right amount of each.

Season 4 premiered tonight...IMDB says they are using the RED Weapon 8K (S35) for this season.

Wonder if the Varicam is completely out.

Per usual, you never know what's going on in this show as it's all over the place, but definitely looks like the darkest season yet (obviously).
