GH4 Anyone using YAGH with Pix-E5?

Just to rule out potential issues with cables and the YAGH itself, is anyone successfully getting either a record trigger or timecode from a GH4 via the YAGH interface? I get record trigger from the mini HDMI directly but not through the YAGH. The GH4 shows timecode from my mixer but not on the Pix-E5. (2.4 and 1.1 firmware, HDMI record out, etc. ) Video Devices says they have not tested the Pix-E5 with the YAGH. They don't understand why the signal protocol would change from the mini interface to the YAGH and I don't either. The Pix-E5 sees the 4k 10 bit picture just fine.

Is there a need for the YAGH when you get full use of the PIX-E5 with the GH4? It seems like a needless complication in this instance.

I haven't tested the YAGH with it, but can confirm that the PIX-E5 works perfectly with the GH4 through direct connection.

Yes as I stated I get the record trigger signal via the mini port, however my goal is to get the timecode from my mixer as well as use the YAGH balanced audio inputs.

My solution: Configure timecode on mixer as rec run, send timecode from mixer to Pix-E5 LTC In, configure Pix to use TC from the LTC port and to record on TC start, add a delay on the LTC signal to account for the latency between the mix audio (and video) and the mixer tracks. Great support from Video Devices folks in sorting this out.
