I want to (a) verify that it works with the HDMI signal coming out of the GH2, and (b) verify that the SDI passthrough works with that same signal. Thanks!

Thanks, I've seen that, hence my question. It would have been nice if it sent out an un-munged 59.94 signal out the HDMI port...

Well the TV Logic VFM-056WP does list 60 AND 59.94 in the user manual so it should work in playback (59.94) preview (59.94) and record mode (60i) but yes some one with both GH2 and Monitor needs to confirm it.
There is a huge thread here about the Monitor in the AF100 forum, someone there would know. It's probably a little pricey for GH2.

FedEx just delivered mine today. I connected it to the GH2 and I seem to have a connection problem, either with the HDMI port on the camera or the HDMI cable. At first I thought it might be the monitor, but when I connected the HDMI to my television, it also dropped the connection, although less frequently.
It worked for both preview and record (didn't try playback), but it was extremely frustrating to test since my signal kept dropping and the monitor would display "NO VIDEO".
I don't have another mini-HDMI cables, so I'll have to buy a second one and test again. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll be returning my GH2 for replacement or repair.
The monitor is very nice, but I'm not sure about the focus assist. It locks on and highlights the on-screen display readouts when in preview mode. It tends to highlight bright items even when not in focus, and doesn't highlight dull items when in focus. At least that was my first impression, but I got so frustrated with it constantly cutting out and not coming back for minutes at a time, I gave up testing the focus assist after about 30 secs.
Once I get the cable or HDMI port problem solved, I'll be able to test more.
I'd love to hear someone else's experience with the focus assist.
