Anyone using Cool Lights LEDs?

I got a couple of these panels a couple months back and haven't had too much time to play around with them. I was just wondering if anyone was using the Cool Lights leds at all and what their thoughts were. Are you using gels, diffusion? The lights do seem to have a bit of a green cast to them. More so than my flo's of the the same color temp (5500k).

I haven't used the Cool Lights LED lights myself, but did you see this article published by Cool Lights? He discusses the green cast given off by most/all LED lights:

He recommends using a minus green gel with their LEDs; apparently their LEDs now ship with gels in the package.

Meanwhile, speaking of inexpensive LED lights, I haven't used these either & can't vouch for their quality, but they sure are inexpensive!:

I have the LED60, it's sold as Falcon Eyes 60 here in Sweden. What you see there is what you get, a very simple but clever made little light, no frills. I got two first and ordered 4 more once I've tried them. Coming from a world of old heavy film lights it's really something else to pick up a aluminium light stand with the light still on, move it to a better position and aim it, unencumbered by a power cord - all while holding the camera in the other hand! See attached image - done with 3 LED60s, 2 warmed with 1/2 tungsten filter front and one unfiltered for back rim. 640 ISO, f/2.8, 1/50.

811, how do you like the build quality of the Cool lights? I've been eyeing them but hasn't seen them anywhere in real life.

Thanks for the LED60 testimonial, Martti. Looks good!

I appreciate your comment about how "cool" it is to work with lightweight lights such as these compared to traditional film lights. I own some old-style Mole-Richardson quartz lights (which are wonderful, but heavy), so I'm looking forward to traveling lighter. :-)

Peter, I do have the minus green that came with. I forgot to put them in the other day though (woops) Anyway, Martti I really like the quality. They are very durable and solid. There's no plastic really at all. Better than a lot of the other stuff out there. I like that they are bank selectable and dimmable, plus you have the barn doors which is really nice...
