Anyone use Pluraleyes with FCP?

A friend was telling me about this software called Pluraleyes and what it can do and I was all excited to give it a shot and I am getting Error messages when I click the Sync button. I watched the tutorial video several times, read the step by steps and FAQ's and I cannot figure out what the error is coming from. I have put in an email to the company but in the meantime if anyone else has experienced this and found a way to make it work, I'd like to hear from you!

Thanks!

I recently picked it up. I have to edit at least one large event (6+ hours) each year so I figured if it can save me even a bit of time syncing it'd be worth it. So far I've used it on a small project (3 hours) and it worked as advertised.

The key is to have decent audio recorded on all tapes and make sure to split them up by timecode breaks if the camera operator started and stopped the recording.

You can also use it to quickly sync up audio to video in a dual system workflow.

You also have to have a Version of FCP greater than 6.0 That is what the rep told me when I could not get it work. I had to get a refund. I am not able to upgrade.

Hmmm - you may have received some bad information.

Here is what the web site says:

"System Requirements
OS X 10.4.11 or later
Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 or later
Both PPC and Intel processors supported

Notes:
1. Because updates to Final Cut Pro can significantly change the interfaces that PluralEyes uses, we can only officially support the latest update of each version (currently 5.1.4, 6.0.6, and 7.0.1)
2. PluralEyes requires Final Cut Pro and does not work with Final Cut Express or iMovie."

That's is what I thought David. But no matter what I tried it would not work with 6.0. I called them, emailed them and they told me I had to upgrade to 6.0.6. I also have a PowerPC G5 if that makes any difference.

If anyone knows it can work with my system (PPC G5, FCP 6.0) I would love to use it. Matching it up by hand is a major PIA.
