Anyone Use a Cullman Monopod?

Apologies if this is too nitty gritty, but I am looking for a very portable (collapse to short length) lightweight inexpensive monopod for use with HMC40 for travel and hiking. Won't get severe use. Looked at about everything on B&H site and Cullmann Monofix Monopod with ball head looks good on paper: aluminum, collapses to 11.8 inches, ballhead, extends to 56.1 inches, weighs only 10.5 ounces, supports 5.5 pounds, priced at $44.50. I am not at all familiar with Cullman (have a heavy Manfrotto which I think is overkill for my VX2000). Did forum search but did not see Cullman mentioned. Anyone heard anything about this monopod--did get good customer reviews on B&H site.

Jim, which Manfrotto? Years ago I bought a Manfrotto 682B (Manfrotto 3229 head) for use with my Sony VX2000 but it weighs close to 3 pounds (with head) and will only collapse to 27.5 inches. So I am looking for more travel friendly (light weight, collapse to 21 inches or less) like the Induro AM25 Felipe mentioned.

Though I don't use the monopod feature often, this 2.5lb (with ball head), 17in folded Benro tripod travels nicely.
