Hahaha! I always use manual focus so, the focusing isn't an issue. If I raise the bitrate any higher, I will just get memory card speed limitation errors. And I use a Sandisk 16GB Class 10 card. I haven't bought a HDMI to mini HDMI cable to watch the footage straight from the camera to see if there's any pulsing yet though. It may very well just be a codec problem with the programs I use to watch my footage. The thing is, I have used the latest version of Media Player, Media Player Classic, and I also see the pulsing when I am editing in Premiere Pro CS5. It definitely has nothing to do with focusing because I have seen it on the actors' skin when its not lit up perfectly, their clothes, and also in the background areas of the footage. ????
